Our Story

Chris and Wam - two people, one goal

Two people from very different backgrounds, but both with the same drive: to do right by people.

After years in the dental world, they’d seen the good, the bad, and the overcomplicated. What they hadn’t seen enough of was honesty, care, and a genuine partnership approach. So, they started a conversation — not with a business plan, but with a shared belief that things could be done better.
And it turned out, they could.

Discover Dental didn’t begin with spreadsheets or investor decks. It began with a conversation between two people.
Which, when you think about it, is how a lot of great things begin. 
- Apple started with two Steves in a garage. 
- Ben & Jerry’s began with two mates and an ice cream maker.
- Disney. Google. Innocent. Airbnb. All began with two people and one idea: that something could be done better.
Our story’s the same.
We treat every client like they’re our only one, and every project like it’s our own practice.
One engineer. One designer. One shared vision: to build something people-centred, not profit-obsessed.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just a dental business. It’s a people business.

Meet The Team

I’ve been in the dental industry for just over seven years now, and during that time I’ve had the privilege of working on some truly incredible projects — including designing and equipping the 24-surgery Invisalign Experience Studio, one of only three in the world. I specialise in dental equipment, squat practice design, and digital dentistry, with a focus on helping dentists turn their dream practices into a reality.

…What I love most about my work is the people. I thrive on being that key point of contact for clients — many of whom I now consider friends. I’m relentless when it comes to solving problems and pushing things forward. If there’s an obstacle, I don’t see a barrier — I see a challenge and who gives up when there’s a challenge.

I believe in leading by example, treating everyone as people first, and delivering both honesty and results. That’s at the core of everything we do at Discover Dental.

When I’m not working (which isn’t often), I’m probably out walking the dogs, watching a horror film with my amazing wife, or being kept on my toes by my son Evan, who’s studying film at university. I’m also a tech addict and a qualified commercial drone pilot — so don’t be surprised if I turn up to a site survey with a drone in the boot.

Oh, and once upon a time, I was a stand-up comedian — but these days I stick to making clients laugh in meetings.

I’ve been in the dental industry for over 21 years, and in that time, I’ve developed a specialism in digital dental engineering — from CBCT scanners and intraoral X-rays to processors and digital scanners. If it plugs in and helps dentists work smarter, I’ve probably installed it, serviced it, or rebuilt it…  

One of the things I’m most proud of is being able to repair equipment that others have written off. I enjoy finding solutions where people said there were none — it’s a challenge I live for. I'm not one to walk away until the job is done, and my focus is always on delivering real, working results.

My journey started as a Practice Manager, where I saw firsthand the frustration that comes with equipment downtime. I became the solution out of necessity, and over time, it became my passion. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for operational efficiency, empathy for practice teams, and a drive to provide solutions that genuinely make a difference.
What I love most about this industry is the people — every day brings a new practice, a new team, and a new opportunity to help someone. Clients know I’m dedicated, straightforward, and always looking out for their best interests.

Outside of work, I’m a bit of a foodie. I love discovering new restaurants and dishes, then trying to recreate them at home. I also find a lot of peace in gardening, and I keep a marine aquarium — it keeps me grounded and reminds me to be patient.

I’ve got a dream to visit every country in the world and in 2025 I will be ticking another country off my list and visiting Venezuela to install a Dental Chair for a very special charity close to our hearts.

Hi, I’m Kieran. I’ve been in dental engineering for over six years now — though I got into it in a pretty unusual way. I met a guy in a pub in Cornwall who offered me a job, and as luck would have it, I turned out to be a natural. With my background in electrical work, the technical side of things clicked straight away, and I haven’t looked back since.

I specialise in reactive call-outs — being the person who gets the call when something’s gone wrong. I love the challenge of problem-solving on the spot and the variety of travelling across the country, meeting new people, and helping keep practices running smoothly. My approach is always to repair where possible, rather than replace, and I make a point of explaining everything in plain English — no jargon, just clear and honest communication.

I’m reliable, down-to-earth, and always up for a challenge.When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu — I’ve been doing it for years now. And here’s a fun fact: I actually won SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2020.

If I wasn’t working in dentistry, I’d probably be a firefighter.I love the quote from Marcus Aurelius: "You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realise this, and you will find strength."My motto: It is what it is.

Sales Support Executive 

Hi, I’m Hannah! I’ve recently joined Discover Dental as a Sales Support Executive and am excited to be stepping into the dental industry. My background is in project management, where I coordinated large-scale hotel refurbishments—including standout projects like 250 City Road and the Staybridge Suites in Manchester.

I’m known for being a top-notch coordinator and a bit of a conversation queen—I love getting to know people, and once I start chatting, I don’t often stop! Building strong relationships is at the heart of how I work. I’m rarely short of something to say (just ask anyone who’s tried to interrupt me mid-story!).

Outside of work, I’m happiest walking in the mountains or exploring the Italian Lakes with my husband, daughter, and friends. We especially love road-tripping through Switzerland and discovering new and exciting places along the way.
